After nearly two years of focusing solely on mushroom kits, we’re delighted to share some really exciting news!

We’ve expanded our offerings to include grain spawn and liquid culture for six mushroom species: blue oyster, pink oyster, king oyster, lion’s mane, chestnut, and pioppino.

Perfecting these products has been a labour of love, and we’re so excited to finally share them with you. Our goal has always been to help more people experience the joy of growing their own mushrooms, and with these new additions, we’re taking a big step forward in that journey.

Thank you for being a part of our community and for your continuous support. We can’t wait to see what you’ll grow!

We recently relocated from Vancouver to Winnipeg, and with this move, we've gained the space needed to expand Folk Fungi. Swipe left to peek into our new office space (no more working from a closet!) and production area.
 
Our mushroom kits are now back in stock, with improved nutrient supplementation for better yields, thanks to our new space and upgraded equipment. We are ready to serve our growing community across Canada and excited for the new possibilities this chapter brings!

East Van Mush is now Folk Fungi! 🍄
 
Why the name change? Folk Fungi is still based in East Vancouver and will continue to proudly serve our neighbourhood and city, but we want to fully embrace our slogan, “Mushrooms for everyone.” That means appealing to mushroom folks and soon-to-be mushrooms folks across Canada.
 
Also, our store (folkfungi.com) is fully stocked with mushroom grow kits again, and we have some more exciting announcements on the way.
