This week is 🍁National AccessAbility Week, a time to spotlight the work being done across Canada to build a more accessible and inclusive society.

At , we’re proud to be part of that effort, working alongside incredible partners who share our goal of making everyday life a little easier — especially for people with mobility challenges.

One of those partners is , who has supported us since the very beginning. From beta testing to final product design, their feedback has been instrumental in shaping Nova by Leafi into the solution it is today.

Another key milestone: our first permanent public display of Nova is now live at G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre by in Vancouver. This installation allows patients and OTs from across BC and Yukon to explore how smart blind automation can support daily independence — with just a voice command or a scheduled routine.

We’re grateful for these collaborations and are always looking to connect with more Canadian organizations focused on accessibility, rehabilitation, and inclusive living.

Today is Global Accessibility Awareness Day ♿, and we’re proud to play a small part in advancing independence through smart technology.

You can now find Nova by Leafi, our retrofit smart window blinds solution, on display at the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center ( ) at the University of Pittsburgh — where it’s being shown to both patients and researchers at UPMC to explore how tech can support daily life for people with mobility challenges.

We’re excited to be part of the conversation around accessibility and innovation in everyday living.

Had the honour of judging the hosted by this past weekend 🙌

Blown away by the creativity, empathy, and engineering talent from these students, all focused on making life better for people with spinal cord injuries.

As co-founder of I care deeply about using tech to make life easier and more inclusive. Seeing these next-gen innovators tackle real-world problems was inspiring.
