Two different fabrics, with a common thread. 🪡

We had our linen and percale bedding tested through 50 wash and dry cycles, alongside two leading brands. Both got stronger in the wash: harder to pull apart than when new.

Our linen has up to 4x the industry standard for tear strength. Our percale showed no pilling, even after 50 washes. Both get softer with every wash, too.

Better, night after night.

We’ve spent years in your kitchen, dining room, and living room. Now, we’re opening the next door: the bedroom.

Introducing our first bedding, in two fabrics. Percale is crisp and cool, in long-staple Giza 94 Egyptian cotton. Linen is soft and relaxed, in 100% European flax, stonewashed to be soft from day one. Both are woven, dyed, and finished in Portugal.

We had them tested through 50 washes, about a year of weekly washing. Both get softer with every night, and stronger with every wash.

We’ve been working on something new, together with a family-owned maker in Portugal that’s been weaving, dyeing, and finishing fabrics for more than a hundred years.

The glass changes the w**e. On Thursday, October 8, forty-two people experienced that firsthand at our Vancouver store, over seven pours of Pinot Noir.

We hosted the evening with Quails' Gate as part of their Pinot Project, and spent it exploring what shapes a Pinot Noir’s expression: terroir and w**emaking, glassware, serving temperature, and food pairing. The flight also included a preview of their upcoming Estate vintage.

Sommeliers Jenna Briscoe and Jason “JY” Yamasaki guided the room through each pour, with dishes from Hawksworth Catering. The evening sold out, so here’s a look back at the night.

We poured our Short Glasses, W**e Glasses, and Pinot Noir Glasses. What it showed us: pour the same w**e into a different glass, and it’s no longer the same w**e. 🍷
