👷♂️Fix by JT Handyman Services is seeking for a reliable detail-oriented handyperson to undertake upkeep & repair tasks at the interior or exterior of company/residential premises.
📌You must be well organized with strong general repair skills.A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in the job.
📌To do well in this position, you will need to be capable of completing most basic maintenance & repair tasks without supervision.That means you must be comfortable with using a wide variety of hand and power tools to complete your delegated tasks.
HANDYMAN RESPONSIBILITIES:
🟢Use a variety of hand power tools without supervision
🟢Perform minor plumbing and electrical fixes(ex.lightbulbs,fixtures,leaks)
🟢Conduct general repairs (ex.drywall,painting,caulking,flooring)
🟢Complete carpentry tasks (door/window repairs)
🟢Load and unload tools and equipment from work vehicles to work site
🟢Move heavy furnitures,appliances ,and equipments
🟢Furniture assembly
🟢Assist with cleaning and remodeling of shared spaces
🟢Consult with clients to ensure they’re taking care of their space to the best of their abilities
🟢Follow workplace health and safety rules
REQUIREMENTS:
✅High school diploma or equivalent
✅Proven experience in a range of home repair and maintenance tasks.References or past work experiences appreciated .
✅Reliabe,punctual,and able to work independently .
✅Strong problem solving skills and attention to details.
✅Knowledge of basic plumbing,electrical systems,carpentry and drywall
✅Proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools.
✅Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items(e.g 50lbs)
✅Able to sit,stand,kneel,lift,and climb ladders
✅Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
✅Can legally work in Canada 🇨🇦
