Can we get a big zap-plause for Andrew. ⚡👏👏👏👏

Andrew has been with Vernon AC for juuust over a year now, and in that time he’s made a big impact.

As our FSR Master Electrician, he brings the kind of knowledge and accountability you want behind electrical work.

Not loud. Not flashy. Just steady, skilled, and the kind of person the team knows they can count on.

Now, Andrew is stepping into his new role as Service Manager!!

Here, he’ll be helping support our techs, strengthen our service department, and keep raising the standard for the work we do in Vernon and the North Okanagan.

It’s a well-earned next step, and we’re proud to have him helping lead the crew.

The whole experience at Vernon AC went well. Everyone, from our initial meeting with Jake, our sales meeting with Bryan and the installers were helpful and informative. The installers, Matt, Ethan and Harman, arrived on time and finished a little earlier than expected. They answered all my questions and explained all that I needed to know. Thanks guys.

This is why vent termination matters. 😬

In this case, the furnace exhaust was venting right into the AC unit.

Which, in case it needs saying, is… not ideal.

Hot exhaust blowing directly onto the outdoor unit can cause heat damage, discolouration, premature wear, and a whole lot of unnecessary stress on equipment that’s already got its own job to do.

Your AC condenser is there to keep things cool.

Not to get blasted by furnace exhaust every time the system runs.

This is exactly why our team is trained to follow a process and to keep an eye out for the little things.

We run a comprehensive multi-point System Performance Check. Just on new unit commissioning? Nope. 👏Every. 👏Single. 👏Service call.

Because sometimes the issue isn’t the equipment itself.
Sometimes it’s the setup around it.

Today we’re proud to award the **Vernon Air Conditioning Trades Scholarship** to a local graduate stepping into the trades.

Behold Bryan, seen here in his natural habitat.

Quietly assessing whether this piece of equipment is about to become someone’s entire problem for the day. 🔧

Though he may no longer roam the jobsite daily, Bryan remains a vital part of the Vernon AC ecosystem.

An owner/operator.
A plumber by trade.
A seasoned observer of pipes, panels, parts, and problems waiting patiently to be discovered.

His experience now shows up in quieter, but equally important ways.

Training the team.
Supporting the crew.
Asking the right questions.

Spotting the small details before they evolve into much larger, louder, and significantly more expensive ones.

Because here at Vernon AC, standards matter.

And when your people have spent years doing what they love, they tend to know exactly what “done right” should look like.

Bathroom fans don’t get much glory, but they do a lot of heavy lifting.

Moisture, steam, smells, mystery mirror fog... a properly installed bathroom fan helps move it all out before your bathroom starts acting like a rainforest with drywall.

This one got a clean upgrade, and now the space can breathe a whole lot better.

Because good ventilation is one of those things you don’t think about until your bathroom starts holding onto every shower like it’s emotionally attached.

Just another day in the glamorous world of AC service. ☂️

This condenser was getting a proper check-up to make sure everything was running the way it should before the real heat shows up.

Because AC systems don’t usually pick a convenient time to act up. They wait until it’s hot, busy, and everyone in the house has collectively lost patience.
