How does someone just disappear? I can’t even begin to explain how painful this process is. Having to go to sleep every night without my love and then, if I can even sleep, wake up each day to this nightmare. I don’t even want to get out of bed, but I do. I have to because I need to find him. It becomes really challenging to stay hopeful. But that’s the only thing I can do. I have to get up and be hopeful every day. I miss him so much and feel so isolated and alone in all of this. Even though I have so much love and support. I just want my beautiful husband to be with me and safe.

I really need help. If any of my friends feel like they can spare some time and come up here to the lake cowichan area. I need people. I receive lots of offers for help, but it seems like things seem to fall through. It leaves me feeling so helpless. I need more help. Tomorrow is day 20 since Nick went missing and every day is harder than the one before. Please consider sparing some time to give me a hand searching areas that haven’t been searched. I don’t just need people to hike in the forest. I need people to canvas, people to poster, and people to just share his beautiful face. We are still meeting people every day that don’t know he’s missing.

We love working with homeowners who are preparing to sell. It's a very emotional time getting ready for a new chapter and to leave a home where you've raised children, experienced hardships, and shared so many memories. This week we had to paint over a growth chart with 20 years of markings. After we photographed it we had the client do the honours. A very special moment.
