Four-unit condo. I did the two top floors, and the hourly guys did the two bottom floor ceilings with Sonopan and resilient channel and double ⅝. The party wall was also done with Sonopan. We just wanted to be done before the holidays. Now the framers will have to frame down the ceiling to 9 feet, and I will be back in the new year to drywall those units. So the main floor unit had 10-foot ceilings with insulation, Sonopan, resilient channel, and a double layer of ⅝, and it will be framed down to 9 feet and re-drywalled. This builder went all out on the soundproofing. Good on him; if they hear anything, there's a problem.
