Open year-round, Bylands is considered a destination garden centre in the BC Okanagan. We offer a full range of garden products and accessories and one of the most diverse and complete mixes of hardy plants available in any garden store. Most of the plants sold at the garden centre are grown by our own nursery. This is a significant advantage, as the plants are acclimatized for the area and the fo

otprint to grow these plants has less impact on our environment. Bylands sells more than just plants and garden products; we have a full service florist on staff to create custom arrangements and bouquets for all occasions. In addition, we carry a great selection of home décor, for both indoor and outdoor living. Bylands belongs to Nurseryland Buying Group and this allows us to purchase hard goods at a maximum discount so that we can pass savings on to our customer. Nurseryland products are Canadian made. Bylands Garden operates from a 4 acre retail area with 20,000 square feet of covered space. Our Garden Centre is surrounded by Bylands Nursery where it grows plants on 400 acres of prime agricultural land in West Kelowna. Ladybugs are here!

Are you struggling with garden pests? Ladybugs are predatory insects that help control populations of aphids, whiteflies, scale crawlers, mites, and other soft-bodied insects. Packages are $22 each, containing 250 ladybugs.

Tips for releasing ladybugs:

- Released at dusk when temperatures are cooler
- Mist plants to provide them with a water source
- Release where there is an active pest infestation, like aphids
- Release soon after purchase, don't keep them in the fridge for too long
