From steep and cramped to clean and comfortable. This front entrance originally had 4 short, tall steps leading to the porch cap. We redesigned the layout by adding a 5th step, reducing the rise, and extending each tread to a safer, more comfortable 14” depth for a smoother, more natural walk-up.

Our homeowner had water intrusion in two basement corners, causing mold and damage. We removed affected drywall and studs, treated the area, and installed an interior waterproofing system with clean drainage tile. Replaced the stud walls, new drywall and set the tape. Water now flows to the sump pit, keeping the basement dry and protected.
