Story time! A long long time ago when Autumn-Rain was a sweet little wee thing she asked me to make her a sock monkey! Yes! A sock monkey. My first business was named Monkeydew Farms, and I made all sorts of sock monkey creations, from fancy ones, ones with mowhawks, Ironman, even Psy from duck dynasty with a fuzzy beard, glasses and all the things! Custom sock monkey creations was my specialty! Ha! I even made an entire collection for this wonderful woman of sock monkeys that depicted each one of her dogs! The memories of them all are pouring in as a write this little trip down memory lane. Soon the monkeys morphed into other creations, and I'm not sure where it happened, but the monkeys were put to rest and wee dolls and unicorns became my passion and MorningDew Wild was born. Oh those little unicorns, y'all loved them! I've created foxes, wee bears, kitties, and dolls with flowing yarn hair decked in the prettiest of dresses and wee crochet shawls. Each pattern created by my own hands, and Adorned with vintage finds to make them something special. Somewhere in this tale, rewilding, gardening, creating beautiful things from Nature, and my love of dried florals, laid doll making to rest. Til this little one. She was created, crafted, and brought to life for a wonderful woman who has loved my dolls for a very long time. This doll looks just like her mama. I was most excited to gift this to her and to say my heart wasn't overflowing with joyful gratitude would be an understatement. From her dark flowing yarn hair, her little linen shirt, her thrifted velvet skirt trimmed with vintage lace, her wee necklace, her floral tights, this doll, was handcrafted with Love, and a light you can feel just by looking at her.
