Have you serviced your gas fireplace yet this year? It is recommended that you service your gas fireplaces annually to ensure top performance. During a typical service we clean the glass, burners, spark ignitor and control compartments. We clean and test the thermocouple and thermopile. We check the seals and test for CO. (Items may vary) A service without issues typically takes 1-2 hours dependant on the type of fireplace and the condition it’s in.
Annual maintenance is also recommended for your gas boilers and furnaces.

Have you checked the age of your hot water tank recently? Most residential electric hot water tanks have a warranty of 6 years. Most strata’s and insurance companies require you to replace your tank when the warranty expires. If you would like us to check your tanks expiration date and to replace if needed, please email us a photo of your rating plate (see photo for example). We are happy to help you out. Last weekend (family Day weekend) the catalytic converter was stolen out of one of our work vans. We have video surveillance of it happening but are looking for more information.
