Kids plant classes!
We are so excited for our upcoming “plant” shop series! Kids will create a new project weekly to take home. The first class will be on April 10th from 3-5pm! Registration is on our website www.whistlerplantstore.com

All the plants I have to keep at the store that I want to bring home and keep, this week:

🍃Ficus Alli-love her long leaves and easy care.
🐠Goldfish hanging plant- blooms look like fish 🐟 love this ❤️
🍋Lemon Maranta prayer plant 🪴 folds up at night!
🌴Sago palm - cool strong leaves, looks so nice in any pot on a stand
🐍Sayuri snake plant - I love the light grey leaves and that they are very rarely seen
🌸pink nanouk plant - I would have a house full
🪴pickle plant is just the best! You can take out the different stems and plant them in other plants..so fun!
🧋string of pearls - reminds me of bubble tea
🐍silver dragon Alocasia - one of my favourite Alocasias because it grows compact, the leaves are unreal, they are strong and don’t drop leaves
🕊Epipremnum albo - like a pothos with white leaves, I love anything with the pop of white. This plant is so strong, you won’t kill it

Boxwood hedges anyone? These are for a client and they are artificial. I wanted to keep them but Justin said I couldn’t…they look so real and are fade resistant and uv protectant.

A fresh arrangement for the pothos, begonia, Ivy, zz plants..:everyone can live together with the right potting. A tall marble queen pothos is always a good idea because we love them. Spring plants can be used inside but will only last for a week max!

Have you seen a Moclame Daniella? I’m not really sure that is what this tree is but that’s what the vendor says so….I think it’s a ficus daniella!
She’s gorgeous in this soft basket pot.
🧺baskets do an exceptional job of softening the space, think doctors office, or spa tech room, treatment centre…all spaces that have sterilized equipment would love the softness of a basket…
🌿ficus Daniella loves bright or bright indirect light. The leaves are strong on this one
🌿ficus Daniella needs water when 1/2 the pot is dry, or if in a really bright light, water when the first couple inches are dry
🍃if you see leaf drop or yellowing leaves it’s usually because it’s dry…water it more. The stems will grow new leaves.

This is a sago palm and it is fantastic! 🌿sago loves bright light
🍃sago loves to be watered once a week or when the soil is 1/2 way dry
Sago looks beautiful in a mixture of other plants to add an interesting texture to the look. Sago will do well in an office, in the home, on a deck outside, in a restaurant…there are endless options!
