Great benefits come to those who stay on over three months with lots of room to move up in company. Training new painters will be considered for the right candidate. This beautiful Whistler home stayed true to its roots! With material costs at a all-time high we meticulously disassembled all of the window casings handrails, stairstringers, doors, baseboards, and any other millwork we could disassemble and brought it back to the shop. We then sanded it back to raw and stained and lacquered all the pieces which were numbered and assembled back into place on site. Loving the reduced impact of waste and the final look of all the doors and millwork packages once assembled. With the help of a great construction team and interior designer the final look was just what the clients were looking for.

This could actually be my dream home. Swipe through to see why!!!!!All reclaimed big chunk lumber from the North Vancouver shipping yards. A mixture of concrete,lumber with a strong industrial design, there is nothing like it I’ve seen in Whistler. We refinished the windows using a DRE lacquer and a natural Linseed oil for the beams and ceilings. Inside is completed just waiting for the weather to cooperate so we can get started on the outside.

Just another mantle piece that I made in the shop for please swipe to see the process. This piece was actually a new piece of Douglas Fir that we then burnt, dragged behind the tractor, beat with chains and sledgehammers 🤣 Sanded, oiled and installed. The clients are stoked!

This classic Whistler project was nice because the client and wanted to reuse the majority of the beautiful VG Fir millwork,casings, doors, handrails and posts in home. Pallapa Painting dismantled said finishing’s and brought it to the shop we sanded it raw, stained it, lacquered it and returned packaged and numbered for the carpenters to put in place. We then refinish the glue lam beams in place made a rustic mantle piece and refinish all the Fir 5 panel doors to match the rest. The end result is fantastic and was great to showcase the high quality wood and not paint everything white as is the usual normal these days. Thanks to and my crew for all the hard work.
