Bedtime stories …

This 1546SF Whistler ski-in-ski out features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sauna, a dining area, kitchen, living area and lounge area all packed into one concise little package.

To address storage concerns in such a small square footage, we designed custom built-in bedframes in both the primary bedrooms with storage underneath, as well as custom built-in wardrobes and desks to maximize all available space.

We chose a light and minimal palette to increase the visual area of the rooms, and utilized wide planks in contrast with slat details to incorporate both Scandinavian and Japanese design influences. The result is a clean, cozy cabin aesthetic that is natural and understated, yet sophisticated.

Checking in to say hey! There’s lots happening in the studio right now, from lobby development for the Rhodium apartment tower in Edmonton, to conceptual design for a Whistler family cabin and a Squamish family home, plus the start of a special new project in West Vancouver.

Just steps from the sauna in this Whistler ski-in, ski-out residence, this bathroom features a deep soaker tub wrapped in striking Calacatta Viola marble and set against a soft and refined palette. Slatted ceiling details introduce a subtle nod to the Japanese aesthetic requested by the client. The reconfigured layout allows seamless flow from sauna to soaker tub to shower, making this space a true home spa experience.
