Colin’s love of woodworking started at an early age in elementary school shop class. Since then, he has honed his craft, specializing in pieces such as cutting and charcuterie boards that fit a variety of decors and needs. As a small, home-based business, Colin has the ability to work one-on-one with each client to ensure the piece is unique and meets expectations. Colin’s work is created from locally sourced materials when possible and all finishes are 100% food safe. Had the opportunity to put the BASE CAMP Mask to the test in the workshop, and I have to say, I’m pretty impressed! 👊

The performance was great, but what really stood out to me was the comfort. For me, the more comfortable a mask is, the more likely I am to wear it consistently. And when it comes to woodworking, protecting your lungs from dust is a must!

Laying out the glued-up pieces and starting to arrange the pattern—this is the stage where it really comes to life. Seeing the grain, color, and flow come together never gets old.

Running some chunks of purpleheart through the planer today—watching that rough stock transform into smooth, vibrant boards never gets old. There’s something seriously satisfying about the milling process and seeing that colour pop with every pass.
