We recently swapped out the original beige front door and screen door for a modern full-glass door with sidelight in a sleek grey colour.

A full light door like this brings in more natural light and adds a fresh new look to your entrance!

Our first green kitchen and we are OBSESSED 😍
When our Clients bought this condo, the cabinets were in good condition but they were orange toned wood. We sanded, primed then painted them this deep forest green and what a transformation. Not only do they look so nice but there really is no better way to personalize a space and make it your own than paint. And of course - you could always do a white kitchen but we LOVE getting the opportunity to do something more unique.

We absolutely love it when we have the opportunity to do something creative. And we really love storage solutions!

The space under the stairs at this home was initially used for 'junk' storage until we put it to good use recently. First, when we expanded the existing 2-piece bathroom into a full 3-piece bathroom, we moved the toilet and put it under the upper portion of the staircase.

Then, instead of either leaving the rest of the space open or just closing it up, we wanted to come up with something more unique. So we built and added these 2 rollouts! Our Client didn't want them painted so we left them as is. But now, she can easily access her running shoe collection from the top and her 'junk' from the bottom without rifling around under the stairs!

With unique solutions like this, functional and attractive storage can be added anywhere!

Our client's grandson lives with her and is starting university next year.

Anticipating later nights for *ahem* studying, she wanted to move him to the basement to give him more privacy. We converted a tiny powder room and large storage closet into a spacious 3-piece bathroom and a separate walk-in clothes closet.

Although this space will be used by her grandson, she wanted everything to be white and bright with a little bling. Because it is still her house after all!

She chose an acrylic shower pan to avoid having to clean grout on the shower floor, grey grout for the shower walls because it hides dirt better than white, she wanted to continue the existing tile floor from the hallway into the bathroom (check out that seamless transition 😎) and shs wanted a patterned quartz countertop to hide any mess. She got everything she wanted, and he got his own bathroom and large closet. They are both very happy!

We recently completed this master ensuite and took it from builder basic to warm and calming spa like retreat. Our client is thrilled too - we have another project lined up for her in the next few weeks and a full main floor renovation in the spring.
This luxury bathroom has all the bells and whistles - heated floors, deep soaker tub, custom shower niche, deep shower bench with glassed wall, 6 jet shower system, 72" double sink vanity, all the lights are on separate switches, tall linen tower with crown moulding.
The lighting isn't showing the colours well but the vanity and linen tower and the perfect shade of greige. And the quartz that she chose for the counter, threshold and bench was a bold choice that shows off our client's personal taste. We think it looks fantastic.
Our favourite feature is probably the shower floor and matching niche....or maybe the heated floors!

Taking some time this morning to go through our garden. We've got so many tomatoes they'll definitely get us through the winter. And most of the hot peppers we're going to make into Trini pepper sauce but some we'll save whole and freeze for cooking. We've alredy eaten our eggplants and cucumbers and we've been using our herbs throughout the summer too. We've enjoyed having our gardens so much that we have plans to increase and expand them next year!

I can't imagine anything I'd rather be doing on a Sunday afternoon (🎣 ) during a heat wave (☀️) so digging post holes for a low, decorative fence is what .re and I are doing today! What are you up to?

We're working on finishing up a couple of bathrooms this week and are installing this tile on the floor of a newly enlargened shower. It is going to be beautiful and fits in very well with our clients wish for a "homey, Hamptons-inspired ensuite retreat"!
