Another project wrapped up! This job had some unique challenges including an extremely unlevel floor that worked to our advantage! I'll be posting some videos on how we created this beautiful curbless shower with bench and hideaway niche.

Today marks the end of an era... Some of you know him.... Simply as Jay. Thanks for your hardwork and dedication. To work alongside your best friend for so many years is truly a blessing. The little bathroom that could (and did!!) This 1850s showstopper has a lot backed into it! With the original refinished clawfoot tub, We installed period style breadboard to the walls, papered above with an eyepopping wallpaper. We convinced the customer to keep the plumbing stack exposed and just paint it... I think it was the right choice!

Fun fact.... Homes of this age had no bathrooms (or plumbing at all) and that's why you will see exposed plumbing in older homes. Because it was installed after the house was finished!

Taking the extra time to plan out tile installation makes a world of difference, especially when installing marble looking tiles. Take the time to line up the veins, customers appreciate the extra effort! Check out the oversized niche!

4 Christmases in a row we have been putting this ornament on our tree! It was given to us as a wedding present. We never got around to putting our picture in it.... Congratulations whoever you are!!

Most people know me as a carpenter / woodworker. Today I've graduated to professional painter 😆just kidding, but these two products sure do make me look good! My runs off my batteries and this paint is one of the best and easiest things I've had the pleasure of painting with. The results speak for itself!

This boat was purchased (new) by my dad in 1974... and he had many good years with it until the floor and transom rotted out. I have been tinkering on and off (more off than on) with this boat since high school and the end is finally in sight. Might even get it on the water this year (wishful thinking?) Stay tuned!
