Work continues in the Orchard. Trying to shape the beds so I don't have to w**d whack along the edges, and at w**ding. I'm happy that about 2/3 of the trees bloomed (they are all still pretty young) and most of the perennial plants came back. There was significant vole damage but most of the trees survived so will try to cage them better in the Fall. Here's hoping to a decent harvest this year.

Seed snail onion starting
I'm trying this for the first time to give my onion sets a head start before they go outside. I usually just plant them out in my garden but thought I'd give this a try and see how it goes. My onion seeds that were started in Jan are coming along well too. Will see who produces better in the Fall.

My parents overwinter their begonias in their unheated garage every year. This Spring due to circumstances they couldn't house them so I am growing them in one of my tents now. This little flower surprised me today.

Pepper blossoms. I picked these blossoms off my peppers today to encourage them to focus on roots and grow bigger before focusing on fruit. Although I hate plucking these flowers off, I know it's for the plants own good. Plant parenting is hard sometimes.
