Training and orientation day yesterday. We were supposed to start spring cleanups after lunch, but the snow hindered that and it's still snowing today 🤬
Maybe we can start tomorrow, how does that sound mother nature, can we go to work?

CLASS 3 DRIVER & EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
The Opportunity: Move equipment and materials to stunning project sites. You’ll be a key part of our high-end hardscaping, lot grading, and retaining wall work.

THE PRIORITY: We are looking for a professional Class 3 (or higher) Driver first. Your most critical responsibility is the safe operation of the truck, ensuring proper tie-down procedures for all equipment, and the secure transport of materials.

THE EXPERIENCE: While driving and securing the load is the priority, experience safely and efficiently operating skid steers and mini-excavators in residential cottage-lot environments is a major asset that impacts the wage scale.

THE EQUIPMENT STANDARD: We take pride in our hardware. This role includes the daily care and maintenance of the Class 3 truck, trailer, and machines.

THE REWARD: $25–$32 per hour (Dependent on driving experience and operating skill).

LAWN CARE CREW LEADER
The Opportunity: Lead a 2-person team providing premium lawn care on a dedicated rural route. Enjoy working in great locations with zero city traffic.

THE EXPERIENCE: A Class 5 license and trailer experience are essential. We’re looking for someone comfortable with the operation and daily care of zero-turns, push mowers, and trimmers. You’ll use a mobile app to track progress and make smart decisions regarding weather and route logistics.

THE EQUIPMENT STANDARD: Our leaders ensure the truck, trailer, and tools are maintained and ready for a successful day of work every morning.

THE REWARD: $23–$28 per hour.

Most of the equipment, trucks and trailers are winter hibernating, just in time for the cold snap! We're resuming handyman services for the winter - think painting, furniture assembly, drywall, minor renos, etc. Message me with your project details and we'll see if we can help! End of season/Christmas party with this awesome crew! Thankful for the hours everyone of my team put in this year and how hard they all worked! I'm sure that everyone is ready for a much deserved break, but I'm already looking forward to next season!

If you are needing firewood for this winter, we are down to our last couple cords of seasoned hardwood, and getting low on seasoned softwood as well. First come first serve, and you can order your hardwood for next year and beat the mad rush in the fall. We currently have green birch available. We also have the mixed species campfire wood available throughout the year.

I'm never quite ready for winter, but it always shows up without fail, so we adjust. End of the landscaping season, maybe, will see what next week holds, but firewood and handyman services are available!

Wood steps, sure, we do almost as many of those as we do stone steps. Living ad working in cottage country means a lot of steps, a lot of the time!
