Big guy in a small hole day. Painting under stairs that nearly no one other than me will ever go under. The client said "just make it look good". I said " well under the stairs I go then.

When viewed from an angle there will be no seams or change in colour. It's a complete deck staining.

Tip: Don't forget your trim.

As a rule I always quote on trim, casings and anything decorative like roundels etc. in this case I'm returning to a dwelling I did all the surfaces ....except the trim. This was an explicit request from the client

Obviously once the walls and ceiling were finished and looked fresh and new...the baseboards and trim all looked dirty and beat up.

So here I am crawling around the space painting in place trim for the same client who didn't care....until it was the only bit of "old" left in the space.

It's that time again

Which one do you prefer?

Also, I did NOT install this box crooked, so don't come at me for that.

For me, there is only one preferred way to orient those screws. All one way. This is a fine detail that some people would miss. Not me. Even though I didn't install this, I finished it. The original installers did not care.

I approach all my projects with a sharp eye to details and finish quality. You pay good money for a finished look. You can expect me to deliver a high level of finish, even if it's someone else's lack of vigilance.
