It's been a really long time since my last post. But when you love what you do, you kind of get lost in the days. This project was special, and one that I wanted to make sure I got right. This couple started this labour of love back in the late 70's, unable to finish some of the cosmetics, I accepted the challenge to make what I did look exactly like what they did many years ago. If you can't tell new from old, then my mission was a success. Making new stain and wood match to old stain and wood, well lets just say that takes a bit of science with a splash of luck, lol. I will mention that the two things that were not touched were the main vaulted solid cedar ceiling or the exterior walls. Oh, did I mention that my lovely wife Lisa will be listing this gorgeous property in the coming days, incase you are looking for a one of a kind home or cottage.
