Our clients had just bought their new home and were ready to give the basement a fresh start, so the first thing to go was the iconic ’70s orange carpet and bar. (A bold look, but definitely not their vibe 😄)

We replaced it with clean, modern vinyl plank flooring, and the difference was instant. Brighter, fresher, and way more welcoming — like the basement finally stepped into the present.

To top it off, we added a partition wall to create a cozy library nook, giving them a quiet spot to unwind while keeping the main basement open and versatile.

A few thoughtful updates, and suddenly the whole space has that special je ne sais quoi. 🙌

Check out this before-and-after transformation. We replaced the old MDF trim with fully tiled walls and ceiling for superior waterproofing and long-term durability. We also added a new LED vanity light to keep the glare down and glass sliding doors to move past the clingy shower curtain and modernize the entire space.

The result? A cleaner look, a tougher shower surround, and a bathroom you won’t mind spending a little extra time in. 😉

Our client had a toilet installed which started leaking causing water damage all the way into the basement ceiling and living room - they needed an IMMEDIATE overhaul 😬
