Hardscapes foreman wanted!!

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hardscape Foreman to lead a crew in the construction of residential and commercial outdoor spaces. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee the installation of high-quality hardscapes—such as patios, retaining walls, and walkways. There is also a soft scaping/landscaping enhancements element to this role however the role centers around having a strong hardscapes background.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Oversight: Read and interpret landscape design blueprints, set elevations, and ensure proper site grading and drainage.
• Crew Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor crew members, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Installation Excellence: Hands-on installation of pavers, natural stone, segmental block retaining walls, fire pits, and outdoor kitchens.
• Softscape Integration: Oversee landscaping tasks including soil prep, sod laying, and the proper planting of trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Equipment Management: Operate and maintain heavy machinery such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and various power tools (cutoff saws, plate compactors).
• Client & Site Relations: Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, providing progress updates to the landscape manager
• Administrative Duties: provide complete daily progress reports to the landscape manager
Qualifications
• Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in hardscaping and landscape construction, with at least 1 year in a leadership or foreman role.
• Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of base preparation, laser levels, and paver installation standards (ICPI/NCMA certification is a plus).
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 80 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Licenses: Valid driver's license; ability to drive a truck and trailer combination class 3 license is beneficial.
