Clinic, reimagined.

We had the pleasure of working closely with St. Vital Skin to bring their vision to life, an environment that feels less clinical, and more calm, bright, and grounded. From leading the architectural programming to shaping the full interior design, every detail was considered to support both function and feeling.

Soft wood tones and a light, airy palette create a sense of balance throughout the space; professional, yet welcoming. A place designed not just for treatments, but for comfort, confidence, and care.

Design that puts people at ease.

Having partnered with this forward-thinking restaurant group in the past, it’s exciting to see their latest concept come together as a seamless blend of narrative, design and comfort food!

Dave and LaVerne’s Modern Diner & Bar brings together the nostalgia of a 1950s diner, the clean lines of the mid-century modern style, and the edge of industrial design. It’s a layered, intentional environment where polished chrome meets warm textures, and vintage influence is reimagined through a contemporary lens.

Rooted in a legacy of hospitality experience, the space reflects the same philosophy as the menu: classic comfort elevated with care and attention to detail.

Reimagining workplace potential.

Following a complete demolition of the original offices, this project transforms an existing office and warehouse into a vibrant, collaborative environment designed to support innovation and everyday connection.

Our team led both the architectural and interior design of the 7,000 sq ft space, shaping a workplace that balances openness with focused areas for productivity. The new layout includes an open office area, boardroom and breakout rooms, executive offices, product development/lab space, staff lunchrooms with a coffee counter, and a welcoming employee gathering space.

Throughout the reimagined interior, bold punches of colour, drawn from the company’s corporate palette, bring energy and identity to the workplace. These vibrant moments are carefully contrasted with the rich wood elements of the existing building, creating a warm and layered environment that honors the structure’s character while supporting a modern way of working.

A workplace designed for collaboration, creativity, and connection.

We are proud to share our work on Sound Stage C and Stage D at Big Sky Studios, each a 15,000 sq. ft. purpose-built sound stage designed to meet the evolving demands of film and television production. Defined by its 40′ clear span height and expansive clear-span structure, the space delivers maximum flexibility for set construction, rigging, and seamless production flow.

A key feature of the design are the oversized elephant doors, allowing for the efficient movement of large-scale sets, vehicles, and equipment directly into the sound stages. Integrated production infrastructure and high-capacity power further reinforce the building’s performance-driven architecture.

Every decision was guided by adaptability, durability, and precision, creating a resilient framework where creativity can operate at full scale and strengthening Winnipeg’s growing film industry.

The Pumphouse, located at the corner of Waterfront Drive and James Avenue in Winnipeg’s heritage-protected James Avenue Pumping Station, is the second upscale casual restaurant we’ve completed in the East Exchange with this visionary ownership team.

Our design focused on preserving and celebrating the building’s industrial past while creating a refined and contemporary dining experience. The main dining room is oriented inward to showcase the original 1906 pumps, with custom banquettes and chairs inspired by early fire trucks. A curated collection of antique fire hydrants adds depth and cultural relevance throughout the space.

Working closely with the City of Winnipeg’s heritage planner, we also developed sensitive exterior lighting and signage solutions that respect and enhance the building’s protected architectural features.

We’re proud to contribute to the continued revitalization of Winnipeg’s East Exchange, and we are currently hard at work with the same owners on a few exciting new restaurant projects. More to come soon.

Located at 25 Bunting in Winnipeg’s Inkster Industrial Park, this commercial project for consisted of a complete renovation of the existing interior and exterior, as well as an addition that doubled the building’s footprint.

Inside, classrooms and boardrooms feature acoustic clouds to absorb sound and improve acoustics, while structural glass and skylights pull light deeper into the building. Outside, a wing-wall canopy protects the entrance approach, and a new, purpose-built shipping container serves as the entrance, welcoming association members, staff, and guests into the building.

We’re excited to share one of our fit-up projects for Qdoba. A fresh and functional space designed to elevate the fast-casual dining experience.

The Qdoba standard is centered around bold colours, clean lines, and efficient layout flow to match Qdoba’s vibrant brand and fast-paced kitchen operations. From durable yet warm wood finishes and industrial-inspired seating to layered lighting and curated wall graphics, every element was selected to balance functionality, brand identity, and guest comfort.

From concept to completion, we worked closely with the client to ensure every detail aligned with their brand standards while optimizing the layout for operational efficiency.

Transforming the typical notion of an industrial park. Our De Baets industrial project was more than just function, it was about: form, identity, and placemaking.

Blurring the line between architecture and urban design, we sculpted spatial rhythms that invite movement, interaction, and community. From site planning to facade language, every element was considered to elevate industry into experience.

This is where production meets presence.

Thank you to our engineering partners and Meer Engineering for your expertise. And thank you .photo for the stunning photos that captured it all so beautifully.
