Alarm Installation Technician Apprenticeship Opportunity

Gardon Securities is currently looking to hire an Alarm Installation Technician Apprentice. An ideal position for someone with no experience looking to enter the trades. Training for this position is extensive and we seek a long-term term commitment from anyone whom is interested in joining our team. A great opportunity to start your career in the trades! Let us teach you a trade which is in high demand all over Canada.

Learn how to install and maintain security systems with training on CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Alarm Systems.
Under the supervision of the Field Operations Manager, the Installation Technician will learn all the above and become proficient in this trade. The candidate will perform preventative maintenance, emergency maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of electronic equipment and software, as well as end-user assistance regarding the proper utilization of these systems. The chosen candidate will travel within Saskatchewan / Western Manitoba and overnight stays away from home are occasionally required.

REQUIREMENTS:
Great attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
Criminal record check
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Skills in computer networking is beneficial.
Experience with power tools is an asset.

We have been busy!
It is with tremendous pleasure that Gardon Securities is pleased to announce the acquisition of Hawkeye Security as of December 1, 2024.

At this time we would like to thank Scott & Bonnie McLeod for all the hard work that built Hawkeye Security into the fine company it is today and wish them all the very best in their upcoming retirement.
