Been spending more time out in nature recently, sungazing, painting outside, and noticing energetic shifts in myself happening from this simple action. The more we unplug from the mainstream craziness, the more we get in tuned with what’s really important- being present in the moment, self love and gratitude for the beautiful thing we call life.🩷

Work in progress for Ottawa’s Embassy of the Kingdom Of Denmark (Greenland, Faroe Islands & Denmark) !🇩🇰💫

Updates to come! 😊

Never thought I would be needing a 9ft x 5ft easel !

Last week I received Aluminum Composite panels for a mural project for The Royal Danish Embassy- no pressure at all lol😅

I quickly realized my supposedly “heavy duty easel” just wasn’t heavy duty enough😬!

I drew up a design a few days ago to build a massive homemade rolling panel easel that’s double sided to hold 2 panels back to back!

This is the first prototype, where there was some bumps in the road building it, but good thing I need a second which will go alot smoother😅lol The plan is to paint 2 at a time to make sure the mural is all aligned from one panel to another.

I didn’t like the setup of the space so I spruced up the shipping crate by placing a bamboo wall in front, some plants and lighting for a more homey ambiance!🌸

Final results with the second panel in the studio setup will be next week! 😊🩷

It’s official ! The mural ACM panels are here for me start painting for Ottawa’s Royal Danish Embassy Mural Project! 🤩🇩🇰

My birthday came at a great time, where I got some much needed rest and recovery at a Scandinavian Spa near Blue Mountain Village last week🌸

I definitely would have loved a longer stay but I’m excited to get these panels uncrated and into the studio 😊! Updates will come soon!

There’s a point when you need to look back and admire all that you’ve accomplished! 🥹

I’ve always loved painting but my technical skills truly started to flourish when I decided to study in France (despite not knowing the language at the start😅) .

It was there I made friendships, collective mural groups with friends (like les Pattes De Chats seen in the reel), and worked with companies like CitéCréation, an international fine art mural company (that actually started this journey of mine from the start! 🤍)

Back story: When I was in grade 8, I think around 12 or 13years old, I went on a school trip to Québec City where I saw the most stunning realistic trompe l’œil mural. I told myself I want to do THAT one day. 💃

I later found out it was the same company I would one day work with and be mentored by🤯!!

Coming back to Canada after about 8years abroad, I started my solo career journey, taking those skills along with me.

It’s been such a ride! These murals are a collective of my personal solo projects, collaborations and with CiteCreation from 2013 to now!

I’m about to embark on a solo mural for the Royal Embassy of Denmark, an honour that would never have found its way to me without the years of hard work and learning experiences.

I am so grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had to lead me here and truly feel like its time to pass down this knowledge. This year, I have something special planned to make that a reality!💜

Generational hands-on knowledge in human cultural art practices, is so important to keep going in this world of Ai. 😭

Stay tuned for updates💫

In honour of Black History Month, I present a work in progress of the memory of Maya, a poet and civil rights activist of the 1900s 🩷 These are a few of my favourite quotes by her ^

Playing music is something I miss! Fun fact, I used to play piano, clarinet, trombone, mandolin… and even dabbled in violin 💃🏻

Working on this painting for Doctor ‘s Otolaryngology Clinic (aka nose, throat & ear- because that word can be a handful to say lol😅) brought me right back to how powerful our senses are — and how something as simple as music can carry us through our day to day.

Also, having dealt personally with a previous thyroid condition, it was a pleasure being able to bring joy to a clinic where patients may be dealing with similar battles I did.

Surreal portraits have always been my favourite to paint. 💫
Designing this violin-inspired anatomy piece was a creative fun challenge. We didn’t want it to feel overly clinical or textbook (no harsh veins and arteries everywhere for the patients).

Instead, I proposed merging anatomy with nature — letting forms flow into tree branches and florals — something that feels alive, fresh, and calming in a space people may enter feeling vulnerable or down.

Here are some behind-the-scenes snippets, including the handmade wax seal and packaging process ✨

But mostly… I hope this piece awakens something gentle and positive in your senses today. 💜
