DAN Architects Lausanne, Switzerland Personeni Raffaele Schärer Architects is an architectural office based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

It was founded in 2001 by partners, Fabio Personeni, Colette Raffaele, Fabrizio Raffaele, and Cédric Schärer . Dany Roukoz joined the practice in 2008 and became partner in 2013.The firm has built a wide range of projects of various scales, from museum setups to city infrastructure. Most of the mandates are acquired through awarded competitions. The partners remain involved in the academic realm. They lecture regularly at the ETH Lausanne and have published several theoretical essays and books.

A historic Lebanese stone house in El-Metn transformed into a contemporary art gallery dedicated to the works of Maroun Hakim . Old and new coexist through a dialogue between preserved heritage stonework and bold concrete extensions, creating a sequence of light-filled spaces designed for exhibition and contemplation.

Une maison libanaise en pierre à El-Metn transformée en galerie d’art contemporaine dédiée aux œuvres de Maroun Hakim. Ancien et nouveau coexistent dans un dialogue entre la pierre patrimoniale préservée et de nouveaux volumes en béton, créant une séquence d’espaces lumineux pensés pour l’exposition et la contemplation.

A forgotten silkworm farm in Ain Aar, Metn - Lebanon, reactivated as a hybrid art school and cultural gathering place. The historic stone envelope and its distinctive openings are preserved and revealed, while a new complementary volume extends the program with workshops, shared facilities, and public spaces, connecting old and new through courtyards and terraces that range from intimate to collective.

Une ancienne magnanerie à Ain Aar, Metn - Liban, réactivée en école d’art hybride et lieu de rassemblement culturel. L’enveloppe en pierre et ses ouvertures caractéristiques sont préservées et mises en valeur, tandis qu’un nouveau volume complémentaire prolonge le programme avec ateliers, espaces partagés et fonctions publiques, articulant ancien et nouveau à travers cours et terrasses, de l’intime au collectif.

A new water treatment plant in Saint-Sulpice, Lausanne, conceived as a linear infrastructural landscape bridging lake and city. Partially embedded in the ground, the building frees the surface for public use beneath a lightweight permeable canopy, merging technical utility with open, vegetation-rich space and a strong connection to its natural surroundings.

Une nouvelle station de traitement des eaux à Saint-Sulpice, Lausanne, conçue comme une infrastructure paysagère linéaire articulant lac et ville. Partiellement enterré, le bâtiment libère la surface pour des usages publics sous une canopée légère et perméable, fusionnant utilité technique, végétation et lien fort avec le paysage environnant.

Linear, open, and civic at its core, the New High School of Sion structures its campus around a clear sequence of public spaces, courtyards, and connections. A transparent façade floods every learning space with light, while the open ground level blurs the boundary between school and city.

Linéaire, perméable et résolument civique, le nouveau lycée de Sion organise son campus autour d’une succession d’espaces publics, de cours et de connexions.
