Un peu d’histoire 📖
Voyageons à Berlin, voici le Deutsches Historisches Museum (DHM), logé dans deux bâtiments architectoniques remarquables : l’Arsenal (Zeughaus), bâtiment baroque le plus important que Berlin ait conservé, et derrière, le nouveau bâtiment construit par I.M. Pei.
Cet édifice est la preuve irréfutable que deux époques d’architecture, deux styles, deux méthodologies de construction peuvent se marier... Tout est question d’équilibre !! Savoir intégrer sans dénaturer, comprendre les aspects de l’ancien bâtiment lors de sa construction afin de s’en inspirer pour le projet.
Cela est également le moyen de préserver un patrimoine, en le valorisant, en l’habitant.
Tout en y apportant sa touche perso, rendre l’ensemble plus fonctionnel, plus vivable... Et UNIQUE !

Let's travel to Berlin, here is the Deutsches Historisches Museum (DHM), housed in two remarkable architectural buildings: the Arsenal (Zeughaus), the most important Baroque building that Berlin has preserved, and behind, the new building built by I.M. Pei.
This building is irrefutable proof that two eras of architecture, two styles, two construction methodologies can come together ... It's all about balance !! Knowing how to integrate without distorting, understanding aspects of the old building during its construction in order to be inspired by it for the project.
This is also the way to preserve a heritage, by enhancing it, by inhabiting it.
While adding a personal touch, make the whole thing more functional, more livable ... and UNIQUE!
