Citizens in action! Last month students learned about the importance of the mangroves in our local river and have been working diligently this month creating a campaign called Proyecto manglares to raise awareness to the problems they face and organizing a clean up to be part of the solution. You’ll find them at this Tuesday’s Blue Guiones Market from 8am-11:30am selling shell jewelry they made in order to purchase reusable items for the river clean up next Saturday. Please come out and support!

Children's Spanish Program Ages 8-13: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Classes Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

This month's cultural project is on the Nosara River. They will create their own book on the geography, legends and wildlife ending with a kayaking river field trip.

Children are immersed in the language and culture as they gain the confidence and ability to speak, write and read in Spanish. Kids are eager to learn through motivational cultural projects and field trips, cooking, role play, conversation supported in a small group outdoor classroom environment.
