The story behind the Potting shed.

A very special garden centre, with a magical atmosphere that has been going for over 20 years, originally started by Turkay and his family when his son had a near fatal car crash and the doctors advised that the only way for him to recuperate was by being surrounded by nature. (If only we had more doctors like this around now!) After years of being one of the main suppliers of vegetable seedlings and plants the place had got a bit run down, this is how Ali and Lucy found it. They fell in love with the feeling of it and saw the amazing potential it had to become a very different type of garden centre, concentrating on organic produce and seedlings with a funky coffee shop and gift shop, an eclectic space for workshops, children's parties and creativity. Every day is an adventure!
