In a neighborhood full of cat lovers, stray feeders and colony managment supporters this catio was built to keep the well fed and cared for strays in the area out of the house at night. 🐈

While all of the stray cats in the area are very well cared for, semi feral cats letting themselves in and out all night is certainly not ideal 🤔

After having solar panels installed and the subsequent cover box to keep all the solar managment equipment shaded, the neighborhood cats (mainly Sid) had a climbable route to the balcony and thus the bedroom. 🛏

The house cats like to sleep on that balcony so the door had to be jarred open enough for a them. 😴

These 2 situations combined into an outcome that you can all imagine and a catio was the clear solution. 🐾

The aforementioned solar panels occasionally need to be cleaned so this one had to have an access hatch built into the roof. ✔️

The ebony stain and silver polycarbonate complement each other nicely and keep the existing metal railing from looking out of place. 😃

The polycarbonate roof blocks the UV Rays and Rain without blocking all of the light from the bedroom. 🌞

The Steel mesh let's the air flow through unhindered while keeping even the heaviest of domestic cats contained. 🌬

And the neighbour's parot(who holidays at this house) already has an eye on what it thinks is a new holiday cage. 🦜

It made a nice change to do a after so many consecutive jobs.

I couldn't ask of asked for a better view 🪟from my temporary office🏡, Perched high above Pissouri Bay 🏖the cool ❄️sea 🌊breeze🌬 persists throughout the day.

Now with this roofed pergola the owner and his adorable little dog🐾 can enjoy the bright ☀️and beautiful👌 little slice of paradise with full protection🚧 from the harmful UV Rays😎

Another completed 😻 and handed over today. 👏

This custom-built catio gives the cats a secure outdoor space to climb, explore, sunbathe and watch the world go by, while staying completely safe. 🏡

Built with a steel mesh and wood frame construction, full weatherproof roof and multiple internal climbing levels to make the most of the vertical space. 🐾

The enclosure is connected directly to the house, allowing the cats to come and go freely throughout the day without supervision. 😸

A solid, practical build designed to handle the Cyprus sun and weather, while giving the owners peace of mind and the cats a lot more freedom.

A little bit of a different this time. 😻😸🐈

The existing glass 🧼fence is cleaned from the balcony so the mesh panels hinge open for cleaning access and lock into a specially profiled beam to keep the kitties in.

Another balcony completed, this one in for 2 to enjoy the outside without the danger of city life. 😻😸

A nice insulated false ceiling in the kitchen really ties in nice with the existing color scheme.

All the tounge and groove is clear stained to preserve that natural wood color and protect the wood from any further unwanted staines.

The cavity is insulated to better maintain tempreture, the perimeter expansion gap is covered with a simple trim to allow for seasonal movement and air circulation.

Suitable for any room or even pergola, this is an excellent way to keep cool in summer and warm in winter with style.

This granite topped unit has 2 appliances inside and central storage, the raise back section can be removed easily for access to the back of the machines when needed without pulling them out 😁
