The SAE Institute is the world's leading training institute in the fields of audio engineering, web design, digital film & animation and game design.

concept-A planned, designed and implemented 4 control rooms and 2 recording studios on the new modern and open campus in Leipzig. As with all studio projects with SAE, great value was placed on the building and room acoustics as well as the attractive design of the rooms.

An acoustic-architectural highlight is the custom-made loudspeaker front in control room 1.

The German Film Orchestra Babelsberg went back to its roots and moved to Potsdam/ Babelsberg in 2007. It derives its name from the legendary Babelsberg Studios with more than 90 years of history. The Orchestra was involved in the production of notable films such as Metropolis, Dr. Mabuse and The Blue Angel.

concept-A was assigned to the planning and the implementation of the room acoustics for control room 1 and 2 and was involved in the optimization of the orchestra recording hall and the scoring stage.

Born in 1998, Moritz Hofbauer grew up in Pforzheim, southern Germany. He came in touch with music at an early age. His curiosity drove him to combine this love for music with drum machines and synthesizers. He began to complement his piano compositions with electronic beats and his passion for Deep House and Melodic Techno evolved quickly. Moritz has already released on numerous labels and his productions entered the sets of artists such as Dirty Doering, Township Rebellion, Marcus Meinhardt or Aka Aka.

concept-A was commissioned with the planning and acoustic design of Moritz's new studio in Mannheim. The studio's large control room window opens onto the anteroom, flooding the space with natural light.

ServusTV is dedicated to a cosmopolitan audience with wide interests in the German speaking area, viewers with high demands. The main focus is the home region of the station: The Alps region. ServusTV, formerly Salzburg TV, has been part of the Red Bull Media House since 2008. After the takeover, the existing studios had to be refurbished and enlarged. The newsroom and the postproduction areas were technically renewed and remodeled according to the CI of Red Bull. The infrastructure had to be connected to the headquarters of the Red Bull Media House, which is situated at a distance of 4km (2.5 miles).

concept-A planned the conversion of the former studios and offices into the new home of ServusTV in cooperation with a team of Austrian and German design and engineering firms. concept-A was also responsible for the interior design and the acoustics of all studio rooms and the newsroom, as well as the supervision of all construction works on site. The room acoustic interior was outfitted with concept-A's range of acoustic elements.
