Rêverie
This painting didn’t come together in a single day.
It began with the view from my studio: a cloudy sky at sunset. I didn’t want to paint a sky as such, but rather to capture a sense of space and light.
The first colour palette didn’t feel quite right. So I returned to the canvas, softened the colours, created new contrasts, and searched for more light and breathing space.
I shared some of these stages of the creative process in my previous Reels.😉
Little by little, the painting moved away from its starting point and found its own path.
