Wans Roses

Wans Roses stands for sustainable and CO2-neutral production of premium and special cut roses.

The production of our cut roses takes place in Germany in the Niederrhein region, in a modern greenhouse plant of 42,500 m². One third of the greenhouse area is cultivated throughout the year with the aid of assimilation lamps. Thus, we can supply our customers with fresh roses throughout the whole year. During the 5 years of cultivation, the rose plants grow in a special coconut substrate on cult

ure channels. The approx. 5.6 million roses, that we produce every year, are sold mainly via the flower auctions Flora Holland in Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk and Rijnsburg in the Netherlands as well as Veiling Rhine-Maas in Herongen in Germany.

Georgina Gardens! One of our varieties that combines many characteristics, we are always searching for. Typical garden rose shaped blossom, quite robust, lovely colour gradient, a good vase life and additionally still opens up over time.

From 1 to 31. 🌹

Since 1975, we have been passionately cultivating roses. In 2012, we laid the foundation for our current specialization with a single garden rose as a cut flower.

Today, our assortment comprises 31 rose varieties – with a clear focus on garden roses and complemented by select varieties that perfectly round out our offerings.

Our assortment is constantly evolving. New, promising varieties find their place, while we say goodbye to others. This keeps our portfolio deliberately manageable and consists of varieties whose quality and uniqueness we are convinced of.

For us, roses are far more than just a product. They represent extraordinary flower shapes, distinctive colours, delicate fragrances, and a radiance that enriches every floral arrangement.

Vuvuzela is not a trend, she proved to "work", or better to say, she became an evergreen in the last 15 (!) years! Introduced in 2012, she was our first garden rose variety and still is the queen of our portfolio 🧡💛🩷
