Designing kitchens is a great pleasure and a passion for us. Here we have opportunities to integrate them appropriately into the building, independently of the generally usual modular construction method, and make them an integral part of family life. The kitchen island is always positioned so that the person working at it is in direct contact with the family or guests. Moreover, it offers an overview of the hall, the main terrace and a view of the pool and garden. It is the position of a control centre and thus the actual heart of the house.

Owing to the added local Jura chippings, the exposed concrete walls appear in a warm grey-beige shade. Numerous protrusions and recesses and the stonemasonry-like chiselling of the edges and parapets lend it a high degree of refinement and precision.
Smooth-formed concrete parapets, polished surfaces and deep recesses differentiate the open southeast street façade and result in the desired deep appearance.

The Strauss Residence is designed as a duplex for three generations of the same family.
The garages, which are covered with soil and greenery and clad with rough-sawn wood, are positioned in front of the house
