For the new .bso Foyers at the in Munich, created custom-made stainless steel furniture that enters into a quiet dialogue with the historic interiors of the Nationaltheater.

Conceived as an open “third place” for reading, listening and exchange, the project combines reduced forms, mobile structures and industrial materials with the ornament and atmosphere of the listed architecture. Designed for flexibility, the furniture adapts to changing uses while also meeting the special fire protection requirements of the historic building.

A thoughtful example of how contemporary furniture can support evolving cultural spaces without dominating them.

After spending the past months constantly on the move (which we truly love), May felt like the perfect moment to spend some time back in our own cities. From enjoying (working at) home, local discoveries, favourite spots and reconnecting with nature… a small glimpse into our monthly mood.

And if you don’t leave your city, sometimes special moments simply find their way to you anyway (thank you .vt for that amazing concert) ✨

ACTIU RED by ♥️

Located in the Salamanca district and embedded within the iconic Lagasca 99 building by , ACTIU has opened a new space dedicated to inspiration, dialogue and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Opened for the first time during Madrid Design Festival, ACTIU RED was conceived as more than a physical showroom. Bringing together design, neuroarchitecture and wellbeing, the space aims to connect architects, designers, researchers and creatives through a continuous programme of talks, events and collaborative formats.

As describes it, ACTIU RED marks the beginning of a growing network built around knowledge-sharing and new perspectives on how we work and interact.

This year, the focus on the productive dialogue between art and craft, explored from both historical and contemporary perspectives. With the two exhibitions “Beautiful Anarchy. Johan Thorn Prikker and His Time” & “Collection Satellite #10: Emma Talbot. PSYCHE”, Johan Thorn Prikker’s vision of the modern total work of art – combining painting, mosaic, glass art and architecture into a universal design approach – is brought into conversation with Emma Talbot’s vivid contemporary visual worlds in painted silk, sculptural works and animation.

The Kunstmuseen Krefeld have invited British artist Emma Talbot to develop a contemporary counterpoint to the expansive work Life Stages, created by Johan Thorn Prikker in 1923 for the Marble Hall of the Kaiser Wilhelm Museum.

You are warmly invited to the opening on May 17 at 11.30 am at KWM. Admission is free!

The moment between outside and inside, movement and pause, is often underestimated, yet it shapes the character of a home as a whole. With LUIS, .de brings this transitional space into focus, rethinking the wardrobe as an elevated and intentional starting point for modern living.

LUIS is designed as a modular system that adapts effortlessly to everyday needs, with a clear form and precise materiality. Carefully defined elements allow for flexible configurations, while a curated selection of around 40 wood finishes and lacquer colours enables personal expression – true to the credo: more individuality, less limitation.

New flexibility in space design 🧩

Superflex by introduces a new modular system that redefines how tile and plank work together — merging them into one cohesive design language for interiors.

A unified grid connects formats, materials, and constructions, Superflex creates environments that feel both precise and fluid. Clear in logic, yet open in outcome.

Three formats, one system. Seven constructions, countless combinations. Design is no longer fixed — it moves with the space. Guided by texture, orientation, and rhythm.
