Coastal Tradition in Deep Blue ⚓

New England coastal architecture is defined by symmetrical lines, gabled roofs, and traditional materials such as cedar, designed to endure harsh maritime climates. Inspired by colonial styles, it incorporates elements like columns, moldings, and sash windows that highlight its historical roots, while open layouts and expansive decks cater to modern needs for enjoying ocean views.

Deep blue in this context not only complements the maritime environment but also creates an elegant contrast with white elements like moldings and columns. This color brings a sense of depth and stability, evoking the ocean's horizon while reinforcing the durability and serenity of this timeless architectural style.

The Symbolism of Red in Victorian Architecture 💯

In Victorian architecture, the color red was more than an aesthetic choice; it symbolized status, prosperity, and the rise of industrialization. Used in bricks, cladding, and ornamental details, red reflected the technological advancements of the era, such as the mass production of fired clay bricks, which made it widely accessible. Inside, this hue conveyed warmth and opulence, contrasting with dark woods and decorative bronzes to create spaces rich in character. This project explores how red shaped a visual narrative of power and sophistication during an era of innovation and cultural transformation.

Entrances That Speak✨

In architecture, not every entrance is merely a passage. Some are experiences. These façades speak for themselves, turning the pedestrian’s curiosity into an invitation to explore. The absence of traditional displays amplifies the intrigue while bold forms frame the entrance, suggesting that what lies inside is far from ordinary. Here, the entrance doesn’t just connect the exterior with the interior. It announces, celebrates, and redefines it.

Subtlety in Shadows 🖤

Contemporary Japanese architecture stands out for its minimalism, clean lines, and seamless integration between indoor and outdoor spaces. Rooted in tradition, this style explores the interplay of light and shadow, creating a sense of balance and serenity in every detail.

Black, a dominant color in this aesthetic, amplifies this philosophy by absorbing light, highlighting textures, and defining volumes. More than just a color, it serves as a tool that transforms spaces into contemplative and timeless retreats, reflecting the simplicity and depth inherent to Japanese design.

Sculptures Beneath the Sea 🌊

An underwater museum where art and nature converge in the ocean’s depths. Visitors explore authentic sculptures unearthed from beneath the waves, surrounded by marine life in its natural habitat. The architecture creates a dialogue between the stillness of the art and the motion of the sea, emphasizing the harmony between human creativity and the vastness of underwater ecosystems. A space where design and ocean merge, allowing the essence of inhabiting to flow freely.

ComfyUI Workshop 💡

Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of attending a workshop led by and organized by where we delved into the potential of ComfyUI, a powerful AI tool. The session covered how the new FLUX base models can create stunning visuals, how ControlNet's and LoRA's offer precise control over the generation process, among other topics.

For this exercise, we conceptualized a cliffside residence, experimenting with different visual styles while maintaining consistency with the original generation. Here’s a brief description of the generated images:

1- Realistic depiction of the residence on the cliffside.
2- ControlNet Canny preview to ensure precise lines in the structure.
3- ControlNet Depth preview to respect the scene’s depth.
4- Colorful artistic interpretation in a handwrite style.
5- Monochromatic sketch in a handwrite style.
6- Clay render style emphasizing forms and textures.
7- Visualization resembling a 3D model.
8- Abstract generation similar to the original.

This experience highlights how AI is reshaping the creative process in architecture and visual design ✨

Desert Lines

This is what cities are called now. With 95% of the Earth's surface transformed into desert due to past climate change, humanity has been forced to redefine the concept of habitability. These immense concrete structures stretch across endless kilometers of barren sand, hosting the last remnants of human life. Here, architecture not only provides shelter but also shapes the very essence of survival.
