Hawaii Gartneriet With the first Greenhouses in 1963. Right now we are producing plants on 33.000 m2 (3,3Ha) under glass.

Hawaii Gartneriet and the breeding company Spurvelund is greenhouses producing green and flowering plants and was founded in 1956 by Erling Lund. In 1997 Stefan Lund and his brother Thorsten have became owners and head managers. Since then company have been constantly developing and became a leading supplier for many wholesalers and exporting companies all over Europe.

“ Going back to the roots “ 🌺
From 1. of January this year all production facilities and production of green plants at Hawaii was taken over by www.LundagerPlants.com with wider assortment in 12cm and a bit more efficiency in mind. This leaves the Brothers behind the Hawaii nursery back to the younger days and the future will be focusing spending more time on the breeding programs of flowering plants. And in the field of growing Hibiscus 🌺 which have been produced and bread for more than 50 years at the nursery - we don’t lack of experience and constantly improvement. 😊☀️

✨ When night begins to fall. This little elf likes to take a quiet walk with one of the greenhouse guardians — Tonic, the black Labrador.
Tonic makes sure all the elves are doing their jobs and happily welcomes everyone who passes by… as long as the proper fee is paid.

And that fee?
Plenty of pats, scratches, and cuddles.

Together they stroll through the greenhouse as the day winds down — one watching over the plants, the other watching over the elves ✨

✨ A greenhouse doesn’t run itself, This little elf makes sure every house has the right temperature and that the curtains provide shade at just the right times of day.

He keeps a close eye on the controls, adjusts things ever so slightly, and nods with satisfaction when everything feels just right.
Quiet work, careful timing, and a lot of responsibility — all to keep the plants happy and thriving ✨

Every now and then, even elves need a break, This little elf has decided it’s the perfect moment for a very serious game of hide-and-seek among the huge Monstera leaves.

Tucked away behind the oversized foliage, he’s convinced he’s completely invisible — barely breathing, eyes wide, trying not to giggle.
Whether she’s winning the game or just enjoying the best hiding spot in the greenhouse is still up for debate ✨

✨ All year round, the elves work tirelessly, this little elf was busy carefully packing the finest plants, preparing them for exhibitions out in the world.

Each plant is handled with care, wrapped just right, and sent off looking its very best — ready to be admired far beyond the greenhouse.
Quiet work, steady hands, and a lot of pride go into every single box ✨

✨ The office elves play an important role to, They help receive the orders and make sure the elves out in the greenhouse pack the right plants for the right destinations.

This little elf, however, has one small challenge — height is not on his side when it comes to reaching all those packing labels.
Still, with a bit of climbing, stretching, and determination, he makes sure every label ends up exactly where it should.

There’s a small corner that feels like a snowy landscape all year round.
Here, the most beautiful variegated hibiscus stand in soft shades of white and green — like they’ve been dusted with snow.

And just when you least expect it, they surprise you with the finest red hibiscus flowers, glowing brightly against the pale leaves.
A quiet little contrast of winter and warmth, living side by side, The little elves tend this landscape all year round.

They quietly care for every leaf and branch, keeping the snowy-looking hibiscus corner just as beautiful through every season.

While the plants change and bloom, the elves remain — watching, tidying, and making sure this special place stays magical all year long. ✨

✨ These two elves absolutely love their red tractor, They polish it, argue over who gets to drive, and insist it’s the fastest (and finest) tractor in the entire greenhouse.
Any excuse to take it for a spin, and they’re off — grinning from ear to ear.

If you hear tiny laughter and the sound of an engine somewhere between the plants…
it’s probably just these two showing off their favourite ride 🚜✨

December 16th

Almost as if she’s watching you watching her work. Standing quietly by the Epipremnum, she admires the shimmering silver stripes running through the leaves — neat, polished, just the way she likes them.

She tilts her head with a small, proud smile, clearly pleased with her work, before returning to her careful leaf-by-leaf inspection.
After all, those silvery lines don’t shine like that by acciden ✨
