We’re proud to share that Skolen ved Dybbølsbro is among the nominees for Building of the Year Awards 2026 ✨

The project is nominated in two categories: Educational Architecture and Public & Landscape Architecture.

Skolen ved Dybbølsbro is a three-track public school in Copenhagen’s Meatpacking District, designed to integrate a contemporary food school and an adjoining sports hall on a complex corner site within the listed White Meatpacking District.

Shelter and structure in one gesture.
The new sports hall at Risbjerg School is shaped by a generous roof overhang – creating a sheltered outdoor space for gathering and movement, while protecting the timber facade beneath.

A hall made of timber – inside and out.
We’ve won the competition for a new sports hall at Risbjerg School in Hvidovre – built in glulam and clad in wooden relief. A compact structure with crafted details that soften the scale and connect naturally to the adjacent 1950s school.
