In the heart of Copenhagen, .rune has renovated a charming apartment into a calm and inviting beige universe.

We helped frame the space with curtains that echo the home’s international character - a subtle mix of French elegance and Italian warmth. In the kitchen, twisted curtains on an antique brass track add texture and personality, while the soft beige palette ties everything together.

Softened by sea air, warm oak tones and a quiet sense of nostalgia, this restored 1960s holiday home was designed to feel timeless across generations.

For this project, the curtains from Durup were chosen to frame the natural light with the same calm and understated elegance that defines the home itself. Their soft texture and fluid drape create a gentle contrast to the architectural lines, adding warmth, tactility and intimacy to every room.

Thoughtfully integrated into the interior by Nathalie Schwer, the curtains become more than a functional detail - they shape atmosphere, soften transitions and enhance the feeling of a true seaside haven.
