A gentle balance between structure and romance — where every element has its place, and every layer has a purpose.

Delicate Re·Design transfers bring movement and grace, while WoodUbend details add architectural character and depth.
The surface is built with Nordic Chic paints in Champagne and Grey, creating a refined, timeless palette.

And then… the magic of imperfection.
Subtle textures and the Posh Chalk crackle gel whisper a story of age, of time, of something beautifully lived-in.

Some objects are not just furniture… they are small cabinets of memory.

This little piece was transformed using Nordic Chic chalk paint in the delicate tones Champagne and Blushing Bride, layered with soft wax patina to create the feeling of time gently passing over the surface.

The story continues with Re·Design with Prima moulds, cast in polyurethane resin, then enriched with creative powders to achieve the aged metal character of antique frames.

Each miniature portrait became a fragment of history…
as if gathered from old European salons and preserved in a small cabinet of curiosities.

Do you dream of learning beautiful patina techniques and creating a unique decorative furniture with your own hands?

Nordic Chic® - real lime paint with EU Eco-label (Environment flower) - invites you to an inspiring 2-day creative workshop in Gilleleje.

The workshop is led by Vaklina Dicheva - artist and international Brand Ambassador for Nordic Chic®, known for her artistic furniture transformations and teaching of decorative techniques.

✨ What are we going to do?
We transform an elegant jewelry cabinet with a mirror into a romantic, decorative piece of furniture with depth, patina and personal character - a unique piece that you will, of course, take home.

During the workshop, among other things, we are working with:
🎨 Nordic Chic® kalkmaling
🌿 patina and layer-on-layer techniques
🕊 WoodUbend® dekorative ornamenter
🖼 IOD Paint Inlay® fra Iron Orchid Designs
✨ decorative finishes and protective finishes

The workshop is perfect for beginners and advanced alike, and you’ll receive personal guidance throughout the process.

From a simple cabinet… to a small Cabinet of Curiosities.

Sometimes a piece of furniture doesn’t have a story yet.
But it has the potential to receive one.

With layered paint, aged patina and carefully chosen details, a very simple cabinet can slowly begin to look like it has lived for decades in an old European home.

For this project I worked with beautiful paints by Nordic Chic, and decorative elements by Design og Prima which helped create the feeling of a tiny antique gallery.

This transformation reflects the philosophy behind my work — building character through layers, texture and time.
