ADEPT wins 192 ha transformation of Airbase Fürstenfeldbruck near Munich. Chosen by an a unanimous jury, we are so proud to share that Stadt Fürstenfeldbruck has awarded 1st prize to our proposal for the future transformation of the Fliegerhorst Fürstenfeldbruck. Turning the fenced off military area into a varied and green urban area, the winning proposal draws on existing identity and the airbase’s motley history as a resource - combined in a design that keeps as much of the existing as possible.

Fürstenfeldbruck Airbase has shaped the region north-west of Munich for almost 100 years. Its history as an airbase for the Wehrmacht, the US Army, the US Air Force and the Luftwaffe has left behind characteristic evidence of its former use. When the military leave the area in a few years, history, architectural heritage, and surrounding landscape will be the foundation of a new urban identity.

The conversion of the airbase area is a dynamic development process that will continue over the coming decades. The timespan oft he development has inspired the masterplan strategies that ensures enough flexibly in terms of programming and phasing. All conceptual and functional layers are developed in a parallel process at different scales in order to test, understand and visualize the crucial correlations from regional strategies to building scale.

I dag har vi fornøjelsen af at have 9 arkitekter og bygningskonstruktører fra AADEPTpå et skræddersyet DesignLCA dagskursus.

Vi elsker altid at have kursister på Rentemestervej. Ikke desto mindre er dette kursus noget ganske særligt, da de spæde udviklingsidéer til DesignLCA blev udviklet over en uformel frokostsamtale med netop Adept i forbindelse med et Archicad-kursus for et par år siden ...

ADEPT søger en engageret og erfaren projektleder med skarpe kompetencer inden for fysisk og strategisk byudvikling. Du har 7-10 års erfaring og kan projektudvikle og lede byudviklingsprocesser på tværs af skalaer. Som projektleder hos ADEPT, er du med til at sikre, at tegnestuens urbane projekter bringes godt igennem designudvikling, myndighedsdialog, lokalplan mv. – mens vores mål om at udvikle levende byer med ambitiøs klimamæssig og social bæredygtighed fastholdes.

Vi tilbyder en fast fuldtidsstilling med stort personligt ansvar, et godt arbejdsmiljø og ca. 50 dygtige kollegaer fordelt på vores to tegnestuer i København og Hamborg. Together with Holscher Nordberg Artelia Danmark and Danmark, we have won the masterplan competition for the development of Copenhagen South - a new neighbourhood surrounding one of Copenhagen's most important hubs for public transport.

When the Copenhagen South metro stop opens next year, the hub will provide access to the Metro, three S-train lines, regional and long-distance trains and eventually international trains - and the expected 30,000 daily passengers will make it one of the busiest in the country.

More than 6.000 plans makes up the amazing exhibition ‘Die Ganze Stadt' (the Entire City) that opened last night in Hamburg.

The City of Hamburg initiates and supports around 40 competition and planning procedures each year. But what actually happens to the competition entries that are not realized? Together, forming a vast volume of visions, all the proposals from 2017 - 2022 show an important - and impressive - pool of knowledge, ideas and individual solutions ready to explore.

The exhibition is curated by Krause Architects and architecture critic Kaye Geipel - and we are happy to be part of the exhibition with no less than 10 entries.

Exhibition runs from June 23. to July 14. at Schuppen 29 (Baakenhöft), Petersenkai, 20457 Hamburg

So proud to present our winning proposal for the transformation of Berlin freight rail area Köpenick.

In a growing city, left over areas along the railways offer a unique opportunity for inner-city densification and a canvas for rethinking urbanism. Our masterplan for a new green neighbourhood by the Köpenicker Station, designed with our good friends at Karres en Brands and mobility experts PGT, has a huge urban potential in the borderland between city and infrastructure. Learning from both urban context and the freight yard heritage, and by enhancing its green identity, the area becomes something new entirely. Created as a result of industrial culture, ecology and urban life, the green area lining the rails is not a classic neighbourhood park, but rather an urban oasis where ecology meets the city edge to form an urban wilderness that shields the sound from the railway.

The plan is designed as one of the most pedestrian-friendly new neighbourhoods in Berlin, connecting safe cycling and pedestrian routes to important social infrastructure. An integrated design approach combine a focus on urban biodiversity with circular economy and an aim to minimize CO2. Energy supply from alternative sources, mobility and building materials are other topics forming the urban strategies.
