After many years in the field, two of our long-standing models are preparing for retirement: PROTECT 600i™ and 1100i™ will be phased out by the end of August 2026.

This is part of our transition to a new, more advanced platform - designed to give you faster installations, quicker reaction times, and even stronger performance on site.

Recommended replacements:

PROTECT 600i™ → PROTECT M80™ or PROTECT 800i C™
PROTECT 1100i™ → PROTECT M90™ or PROTECT 1500i C™

📅 Last order date for 600i™ and 1100i™*: August 1st, 2026
*Both phased-out models remain fully supported during the transition, but we recommend using the next-generation units for new installations.

Recently, a question came up: “If the fog activates, doesn’t it also obscure the cameras - and reduce the value of video evidence?”

It’s a fair question. Most conversations about fog security eventually come down to one thing: what actually makes a difference in a real break-in?

After seeing hundreds of incidents around the world - many of them captured on CCTV - a clear pattern appears. When there’s no fog, intruders have time. Time to move, to search, to force entry, to cause damage. Cameras record everything, but the burglars still control the situation.

When fog activates, that control disappears within seconds. 🌫️

CCTV is valuable: it detects, verifies, and documents. But it doesn’t change the environment inside the room. Fog does! Once visibility is gone, so is precision. And without precision, most intruders don’t stay. They leave - quickly.
