A versenykiírás idén egy felettébb aktuális társadalmi probléma kereteit feszegeti a magyar résztvevők számára: 800.000 idejétmúlt, fizikailag leamortizálódott „kockaház” vár a XXI. század kihívásainak való megfeleltetésre. A Solar Decathlon Europe 2019 verseny egy izgalmas lehetőség azon kísérlet levezetésére, hogy miként lehet minőségi irányvonalat mutatni az öröklött építészeti környezet fenntartható fejlesztésére és az új építészeti irányok meghatározására. E kísérlethez alapanyagként a vernakuláris magyar építészet egyszerű, következetes ötletességét, a környezettudatos gondolkodás természethez hű magabiztosságát és az energiadesign high-tech alkalmazásait ötvözte a csapat munkájában. Projektjük a mintaház fejlesztésén túl annak zöld környezeti integrációjára és társadalmi beágyazódására is különös hangsúlyt fektet. E különleges egyveleg számos megoldási változatát és technológiai újítását dolgozták ki a projekt során, melynek köszönhetően a Hungarian Nest+ (Magyar Fészek+) projekt különböző változatai képesek valós megoldást adni a fenntartható, energiatudatos, ökológiai lábnyom nélküli humánus emberi létre.
☀️ kulcsjellemzők
- Venturi torony: lehetővé teszi az épület helyiségeinek passzív légcseréjét, nyári hűtését, téli benapozását.
- Mobil életterek: a ház szabadon kombinálható elemei minden típusú telepítési mód esetén, a különböző családméretekre, családstrukturális hiányosságokra reagálnak.
- Újrahasznosított anyagokból készített „okos” bútorok: beépítésükkel számtalan módon képes az épület új funkciók befogadására, megváltozott igények, családi struktúrák kiszolgálására.
- Az épületet vezérlő automatika: a megadott vezérlési instrukciók alapján egyszerre irányítja, figyeli és elemzi az épület működését és tanulja a különböző környezeti hatásokra a tulajdonos által generált válaszokat.
- A projekt mottója "A természet nem egy hely amit meglátogathatunk, hanem az otthonunk".
E tézis kifejtése nemcsak a természetes anyagok alkalmazásában és a zöld energiák hasznosításában rejlik, hanem az épület természeti környezetbe ágyazódásában is különös hangsúlyt kap. A belső élettér kiterjesztett kerti valósága, az előtetőre ültetett zöldtetővel és a belső átrium udvarba lopott élő növényzettel biztosítja az egészséges élethez elengedhetetlen oxigénben dús teret.
⚡️Innovatív technológiai megoldások
- Beszéd alapú érzelemfelismerés.
- Újrahasznosított anyagokból készített „okos” bútorok.
- A „Venturi átrium”-ban és a teraszon, ill. naptérben elhelyezett élőflóra, mely a ház önfenntartó oxigénbázisa.
- Hármas rétegfelépítésű aktívtető.
- Mobil Naptér a déli oldalon, mely polikarbonát tolófalával télen szoláris burokként látja el energiával az épületet.
- Az épületben elhelyezett „okos” eszközök – amennyiben a tulaj igényli – egyetlen telefonos applikációról egyszerűen működtethetőek.

This year’s contest addresses a very current social problem for the Hungarian competitors: 800.000 outdated, physically amortised “Cube Houses” are waiting to make them meet the challenges of the 21st century. Solar Decathlon Europe 2019 is an exciting opportunity to try out how to show a quality direction for the sustainable development of the inherited architectural environment, and define New Architecture Directions. For this experiment, the simple consistent ideas of vernacular Hungarian architecture, the self-confidence of environmentally conscious thinking and high-tech applications of energy design must be combined. In addition to the development of the prototype, the project places particular emphasis on green environmental integration and social integration. The Team has worked on a variety of solutions and technological innovations for this unique blend that allows different versions of the Hungarian Nest+ to deliver a realistic solution for a sustainable, energy-conscious living, without ecological footprint.
☀️key features
- The Venturi plate: it helps passive ventilation in the summer, while in the winter it makes internal sun exposure possible from the roof with the help of the integrated mirrors.
- Mobile living spaces: with free combination of the elements of the prototype, it can react on the differences in size and on the structure deficiencies of the families in case os any kind of installation.
- “Smart” furniture: incorporating “smart” furniture made of recycled materials, so that the building can provide new features for changing needs and different family structures.
- Guide robot: an autonomous robot is placed in the house with capabilities for various tasks.
- The motto of the project is "Nature is not a place to visit, it is our home".
The explanation of this thesis lies not only in the application of using of natural materials and the utilization of green energies, but also special emphasis is placed on embedding the building in a natural setting. Augmented Garden Reality of Inner Living Space, with the green roof planted roof and with the living vegetation in the courtyard atrium provides the oxygen-rich space essential for a healthy life.

- Natural light flux control - the flow of natural light into the building is influenced by the rethinking of traditional passive devices compared to the seasons.
