There was a time when every farm had a root cellar. A simple yet ingenious place where harvests stayed fresh through the seasons and shelves were lined with preserves until the next crop was ready.

Today, Revonia’s concrete root cellar brings that timeless wisdom into the modern age. Built to last for generations, it offers the ideal environment for storing vegetables, preserves and other homegrown treasures naturally and efficiently.

And while functionality comes first, every root cellar tells its own story. In this case, the owner even added a safety railing on top of the mound to make sure their four-legged family member stays safe while enjoying the view 🐾

Meet Riverberg puhkemaja . A new holiday cottage built using Revonia's concrete modules, tucked into the rolling landscape of Southern Estonia.

Set on a hillside in Otepää, overlooking a forest pond and the Väike-Emajõgi, Riverberg was designed to help people slow down and reconnect with nature, without compromising on comfort.

The site itself shaped every decision. Rather than forcing a building onto the landscape, the goal was to create something that felt naturally at home there. Revonia's concrete modules made it possible to follow the contours of the terrain while creating bright, spacious interiors with generous ceiling heights.

Can our concrete modules be used as shelters? It's a question we get asked quite often.

The answer is yes. Our modules are built from reinforced concrete and designed for exceptional strength and durability. We've also carried out practical testing, confirming that they can successfully serve as shelters when needed.

Freshly installed and ready for the years ahead.

One happy Revonia client just received their new cellar and honestly, the setup is simpler than many expect.

We’re often asked “How does the installation look like and what do I need to prepare?”

The answer is simple.

You only need a properly levelled crushed stone base that is around 30 cm thick.

That’s it. You don’t need to worry about anything else, because the installation is done by us.
