Estonia's leading culture magazine Sirp featured TEMPT architects' Stroomi Beach Building in a critical article by Karin Paulus, one of Estonia's foremost art- and architecture critics. A thoughtful discussion on how adaptive, sustainable design can serve public spaces.
We believe that this building can be seen as a circular economy experiment, but also an exciting intervention, which can serve as an example for both revitalizing current urban spaces and as a case study for our future projects.
We would like to leave more opportunities and fewer obligations for future generations.

Space in Nature

This home on Hiiumaa island coast speaks a simple truth: life has two sides. Like day and night, activity and rest, motion and stillness—all are necessary. All complete each other.

Two distinct volumes, neither dominating, both essential. Terraces facing different directions and emotions. Two ways of being, held together as one.

But the true magic lies deeper. Step inside. The exposed CLT timber structure reveals itself—not hidden, not finished away, but honest and present. Warm wooden surfaces envelope you. And then comes the scent - the breath of the forest itself, pulling you directly into nature with every breath.

This isn't decoration. This is immersion. The wood speaks a language older than words, reminding your body where you belong. Architecture that touches all the senses. That makes you feel alive.

Stroomi beach is looking for a Chef!

This isn't just a restaurant space. The Stroomi beach pavilion we designed embodies circular architecture—built from modular timber components that will be respectfully dismantled and rebuilt into a new structure elsewhere when their time here ends. Nothing discarded. Everything purposeful.

This building deserves an chef who thinks the same way about food. Someone who sees ingredients as resources to honor. Someone fluent in flavors, seasonal rhythms, and genuine sustainability—not as marketing, but as philosophy.
If you believe that great restaurants are built on respect (for materials, for place, for people, for tomorrow), this is your space.

From ruins to renewal ✨ Our latest transformation: a complete redesign of a historic property near Tallinn, built on the remains of a 19th-century Governor-General's summer house. The original wine cellar lives on, now surrounded by contemporary architecture, modern comfort, and thoughtful sustainability. Where past and future meet.

We went to Røst Island to find inspiration for a new project. Study of culture, history and architecture, nature and customs, heritage, stories and habits. Church that was never built, bird-watching, fishing stories from bygone times, houses for seagulls and houses made of herring crates, modules covered with branches and fish drying racks made of branches. A lot of wood on an island with no forest.
