Responsibilities for Architectural Designer

# Receive project requests and draft designs
# Finalize drafting projects using both 2D and 3D sketching
# Revisit designs and make adjustments to designs as needed
# Research and incorporate artistic elements into designs as needed
# Ensure design specifications align to safety standards and governmental regulations
# Liaise with various professionals and departments to coordinate project details
# Providing clients with suitable design recommendations based on factors such as budget, the building site, and recent trends.
# Using CAD software and manual drawing techniques to produce architectural plans for management and client approval.
# Reworking and modifying designs based on comments and reviews from management and clients.
# Providing management with estimates on cost, time, machinery, construction, and other specifications.
# Ensuring all vital information and documentation is recorded and maintained.
# Conducting research and attending workshops and conferences to remain up-to-date with the latest design trends.
# Ensuring that all layouts and blueprints are compliant with industry codes and legal standards.

Architect Requirements:

# Degree in Architecture or a related field.
# Previous experience as an Architect preferred.
# Excellent technical drawing skills.
Strong communication and project management skills.
# Knowledge of Microsoft Office and software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Newforma, etc.
# Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
# Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards.
Strong creative and visualization skills.
