This is an appreciation post to all the women in my life, to all the women that were there for me and helped me be who I am.
To all the women I knew and grew a stronger bond with this year!
To mama, thank you for being there. To my sisters, thank you habaybi, i don’t know what I’d have been without you. To Salma, thank you for being there through my ups and downs. To my childhood friends, thank you for being you and always by my side.
To my college friends, colleagues and instructors, thank you for helping me through my journey and teaching me different perspectives. To the strangers who became friends and work partners.
To my friends who became roommates and dailys, thank you for bearing me through hard times and laughing to my sarcastic jokes.
To Stefanie, I am so happy that I got to know you better, and thank you for helping with my German.
To my cousins and auntie, thank you for supporting me and waking me up in thanaweya 3amma!
To all women, thank you for showing up, being you, teaching something to someone, and being kind and strong.
This post was long, but necessary. These women helped in shaping me as a daughter, a sister, a friend, a student, a business owner and a human.
