Cajun Shrimp Pasta

**Ingredients:**
- 8 ounces penne pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 bell pepper, any color, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
**Directions:**
1. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Toss shrimp with 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until vegetables are soft, about 5 minutes.
4. Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, paprika, red pepper flakes, and remaining Cajun seasoning. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
5. Return shrimp to the skillet and add cooked pasta. Toss to combine and heat through.
6. Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
