Here at Casa Colorida we stock is Polycarbonate drinking glasses all year around. They are a favorite for everything from poolside cocktails to high-end catering.

1. Virtually Unbreakable

The biggest selling point is safety. Unlike glass, which shatters into dangerous shards, polycarbonate is shatterproof.

The "Drop Test": If you drop a polycarbonate w**e glass on a concrete patio or a tile floor, it will likely just bounce.

Ideal For: Poolsides, patios, boats, nightclubs, and households with kids or rambunctious pets.

2. Glass-Like Clarity

Unlike cheap "disposable" plastics that look cloudy or yellowish, high-quality polycarbonate is incredibly clear. It mimics the brilliance and refractive index of real glass, so your Pinot Noir actually looks like w**e rather than a science experiment.

3. Superior Insulation

Polycarbonate is a better thermal insulator than glass.

Cold Drinks: It keeps your iced tea or b**r colder for longer.

No Sweat: It is less prone to "sweating" (condensation) on the outside, which helps protect your wooden tables from water rings.

4. Dishwasher Safe & Durable

While many plastics warp or "craze" (develop tiny cracks) in the heat of a dishwasher, polycarbonate is generally rated for commercial dishwasher use⁸. It can handle high heat and repeat cycles without losing its shape or clarity.
